Family Scene

18″x24″, Acrylic on Wood Panel, April 2008

This is a collaboration (or trade if I remember right) with my daughter, done just before her fifth birthday. The four panels (this is actually painted on the back half of a standard wood panel), starting from the top left and going clockwise, are a “family portrait”, representing:

  1. The sun and moon.
  2. The house that we all built ourselves.
  3. Me, Caitlin, and Nefarious.
  4. A princess being scared by a werewolf (not sure how this fits into the story).
